IMSciences has developed centers of excellence that are dedicated to developing academic fields and functional responsibilities in high growth areas with little current academic provision. To meet these needs, the centers are engaged in providing vital training services, certifications, and research input to government sector, bilateral, and multilateral agencies.

Human Resource Development Center

The HRDC is one of the premier and most accomplished centers of the Institute. It was established in 2003 in line with the Institute’s strategic imperative to enhance and strengthen its overall scope not only in terms of academic programs but also through subject/discipline specific centers. Besides conducting applied and need-based research to generate knowledge, the centre also assists the Institute to improve and enrich its own organizational structure as well as that of other public and private sector organizations by providing intensive human resource training and capacity building program.

HRDC operates on the entrepreneurial philosophy of self-reliance and self-sustenance: all projects and day to-day operations are dependent on the resources generated by the HRDC network. In this way, the HRDC makes tangible contributions to its parent organization besides adding to the overall value.

In 2009-10, the center conducted Capacity Building, Research & Development, and Technical Assistance projects with:

  • Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
  • Planning & Development Department,
  • Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
